Couch to 5K in Just 6 Weeks!

Want to get back to running? Do you think in just a couple weeks you could run a 5K? Well with the Couch to 5K program you can run a 5K in just 6 weeks! To get you back into running this program will mix walking, running, and some exercise days. Each day the program will increase the time you run while it decreases the walking time with intermixed times to workout your lower body. To help your body rest the program also includes "cheat days" or days of rest. Each day you run or workout it is recommended that you also stretch this will help the lactic acid that builds up in your body to be released. Make sure to drink lots of water and eat healthy to assist your running progress. Finding a partner to run with will also provide motivation and encouragement and increase your success with the running program.
